Jesse

Jesse has been part of the CrossFit community for five years and recently began his coaching journey at CrossFit Silicon Valley. As both an athlete and coach, he enjoys helping others build confidence, improve their fitness, and develop habits that support long term success. Jesse discovered CrossFit Silicon Valley through a friend and quickly found a community that matched his passion for fitness. His coaching philosophy focuses on helping athletes build strength, improve conditioning, and train with purpose through smart pacing, proper movement mechanics, and consistent effort. Members are often surprised to learn that Jesse is usually one of the first people to volunteer to help out when something needs to get done around the gym. Whether it's setting up equipment, supporting athletes, or lending a hand behind the scenes, he's always looking for ways to contribute to the community. In the gym, Jesse enjoys the combination of power, speed, and technique required for the power clean. He continues to work on refining his rope climbing skills and appreciates the patience and practice required to master them. For new members, Jesse's advice is simple: consistency over intensity. Showing up regularly and building good habits will take you much further than trying to do everything at maximum effort right from the start.
