Super fit. Super pregnant

Coach M is as strong as ever in her 6th month of pregnancy.  Both her pregnancies feel similar.  We reflect on the fact that she was in her peak fitness levels prior to when she got pregnant both times.   Yes, something is definitely in the CrossFit water.

We also remember how fast she recovered.  After 3 months Michaela was in competition form and threwdown in Diablo and in just a year she placed 13th in the 2011 NorCal Regionals! 

Michaela is now shifting her focus toward strength while significantly lowering her intensity.  She is getting enough sleep because Avery now sleeps through the night like a champ.  She does feel the extra weight as she gained 25 pounds or so, however, she says it is just like training with a weighted vest.  We are thankful for a healthy, strong CrossFit mom.  All the training pays off in many ways. Michaela CrossFits to be a better mom, wife, coach, business owner, athlete and to excel in life. In addition, the $250,000 prize in 2013 looks like it can buy a lot of diapers and barbells.

The mindset, lifestyle, and training helps in more ways than one may think.

5 rounds with 90 second rest after each round

  • 20 Walking lunges
  • 200 Meter run
  • 15 Ring dips
  • 10 Push ups

Post total time minus 6 minutes of rest.
